Nearly New Shop / Drop In

What is it?
We sell a wide range of clothes from babies to adult. All clothes are very low cost. We also sell:
- bedding
- curtains
- towels
- pillow-cases
- blankets, sheets & duvets
- china and glass
- kitchenware (and other small household items)
- a range of cots, prams and nursery equipment
All profit goes to the community, and donations are made to community groups.
Care & Friendship Coffee and Lunch
When?
Thursdays from 10am. Lunch is served at 12 noon
What is it?
The coffee and lunch provides a low cost lunch and offers friendship and support to people in the community. Our lunches provide people with an oppurtunity to talk and share their problems and concerns, and ages range from toddlers to 97 years of age!
During the morning coffee there is a quiet room for those who wish to light a candle and be quiet for short while. There is also the oppurtunity to browse in the nearly new shop (see above) and look for bargins. Lunch is served at 12 noon, with a hot main meal and a choice of either hot or cold pudding. There is a small cost of £2.50
Toddler Group
When?
Wednesday mornings from 10am - 11.30pm
What is it?
The Toddler group is open to carer's and parents with babies/children 0-4years. Our Toddler group enables children to learn in a happy and safe environment, with activities ranging from painting and crayoning to singing and stories. It also provides the opportunity for parents and carers to chat, swap information, share problems and build relationships.
If you have a baby or toddler come and join in the fun on Wednesdays!
Wednesday Fellowship
When?
3pm to 4pm
What is it?
An open invitation for both men and ladies to join us for an informal afternoon in the Wesley room led by Lay Worker Jane. With a variety of speakers each week, there is also time to chat over a cup of tea and biscuits. Please, come along and join us...
