The Southdown Whiteway Church and Community Partnership

The Southdown Partnership is based at the Southdown Methodist Church Centre and employs a Church Community Worker to support families, individuals and organisations in Southdown, Whiteway and Twerton.

The work includes:

• Co-ordinating and chairing an inter-agency forum

• Supporting and working with other organisations such as:

  Southside Family Centre, First Steps Nursery, Southside Youth Centre, local schools, Blagdon Park Sheltered Housing and many others.

• Helping people in need by providing basic household items and clothing.

• At the Church Centre a team of volunteers help to provide:

  Advice Centre, Care and Friendship Lunchclub, Toddler and Carer Group, Nearly New Shop, Children's Holiday Club and many other activities.
