The Future

The Southdown Church Centre

The Management Team have been planning to upgrade the Church Centre for a number of years and the good news is that a start should be made in the near future. This involves the Sale of Oldfield Park Methodist Church, the proceeds of which will be use to refurbish Southdown. We should soon see the realisation of our vision of an all purpose church and community centre for Southdown.

Horizon Church

Members of Oldfield Park will form a new Methodist congregation at Southdown and will appropriately be called Horizon Church.

The Partnership

The work of the Partnership will continue as a separate entity. There will, inevitably, be some changes as the Partnership evaluates, expands and develops to meet the needs of the community, but we look to a future of great promise and hope. We intend to continue to serve the people of the area for many years to come.
